Our Trunk-or-Treat event has become a community favorite, and we are so excited to do it again this year! We hope you join us as we hang out together and collect some treats! We are looking for volunteers to decorate their trunk to make this event extra special! We are also collecting candy and treats for cars to give out. San Antonio Baptists Association (SABA) Hunger Walk
San Antonio Baptists Association (SABA) Hunger Walk
November 4, 2023 at Comanche Park #2 off Rigsby Avenue, San Antonio, TX This is a family friendly event. Come and go as you wish. Walk as much or as little as you are able. Paths are paved for strollers. Dogs are welcome. There is a children’s playground. There is free food provided by one of the churches, as well as fruit and water. The walk is shaded and runs along Salado Creek. Lots of smiling faces and laughter as you pass groups from other churches all on the same mission to help those in need while enjoying the beauty Our LORD has given us. To participate and be counted, you need to get an envelope from Jill Parker, and turn the envelope and donations in at the park that Saturday morning. If you are unable to make the walk, please give your envelope to someone who is going or email Jill Parker at info@trinitybaptist.org. If you can’t walk, but would like to participate, get an envelope and donate. TBC gets credit and a share of the monies collected by the number of walkers/envelopes turned in. I have 40 envelopes and would love to be short this year. There are 30 Baptist churches in SABA (San Antonio Baptist Association), which have food pantries, so our walking helps give food to many people. Thank you!
