STUDENTS

helping seekers to become believers
and believers to become disciples.

Grades 7th – 12th

We believe our youth have a vital role in the life and health of our Christian Community.

It is of great importance, then, for us to help raise and educate active and engaged teens. Our philosophy of youth ministry begins with meeting students where they are and taking a holistic approach to spiritual growth. Students with discover the truth of God and His Word through times of teaching and study. They will be encouraged to transform their lives by a dedicated group of God-centered adults who truly care about students. And they will be activated into service and ministry through service opportunities that allow students to succeed in meeting real-life needs in the lives of the people around them.

Students will be introduced to other young people who are seeking God and will be encouraged to experience fellowship among their peer groups. You can find a schedule including our weekly youth group meetings and upcoming youth events on our calendar. If you have any questions, please contact us.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • Worship: To provide a place where students can engage in multi-generational worship.
  • Fellowship: To develop caring relationships and foster authentic community.
  • Discipleship: To teach students biblical truth and equip them to apply scripture to their lives.
  • Missions: To create opportunities to serve others locally and globally.
  • Evangelism: To mobilize students to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

EXPLORE STUDENTS CLASSES

TBC Students – Sunday Morning Bible Study

TBC Students | 10:15 am | Student Center | 7th-12th Grade For the next few weeks, we will be working on a study from both the Old and New Testaments on Identity. Our current unit is called "Not Yet," and we will talk about all of the questions, fear, frustration, and excitement that thinking about our futures can bring. As we explore passages from Ecclesiastes, Revelation, and more, we'll discover four truths about what God has in store for us: we're all a work in progress, your purpose is to be like Jesus, God's plans for you are good, and your next step is to get closer to God.

Event Series Faith Family Night

TBC Students Faith Family Night

Trinity Baptist Church 319 E. Mulberry, San Antonio, TX, United States

Understanding that our students, grades 7th-12th, are making an effort to still be at church after a long day of school and activities, we slow down a little on Wednesday nights. We have dinner together, play a game, have a quiet time of worship, and then dive in to a discussion driven Bible study.  Our students are encouraged to apply what they have learned to issues in their own lives, and share prayer requests. TBC Students meets in the Student Center.
