In a world filled with uncertainties, challenges, and fears, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and lost. We often search for something or someone to hold onto, something that can provide us with strength, guidance, and protection. In times like these, we need to remember the profound truth that has been passed down through generations: “Leave everything in God’s hands, and eventually you’ll see God’s hand in everything.”

“The right hand of God” is a powerful biblical phrase that symbolizes the omnipotence and authority of our Creator. It represents His strength, justice, and protection. When we think of Jesus Christ as “the right hand of God,” we are reminded of the salvation and deliverance He brought into humanity. He was sent to us as a Devine gift bringing hope, love, and the promise of eternal life.

Followers of Christ are not only called to believe in His power and love, but also to embody His teachings. As followers, we are called to be the hands of Jesus, extending love, compassion, and kindness wherever we go. Just as Jesus walked this earth and touched lives, we too have the opportunity to make a difference through our actions. When we place our fears, hurts, and desires in God’s hands, we find solace and reassurance. The same hand that calmed the raging sea can calm the storms within our hearts. The hand that restored sight to the blind can heal our wounded souls. Be entrusting our financial concerns to the One who owns everything, we gain peace and security. And when we surrender our limited perspectives to the perfect perspective of God, we receive clarity and understanding.

Think about the two hands of Christ. On one hand, He holds an inheritance, a promise of a future beyond our imagination. On the other hand, He holds you, His beloved child. These hands are secure and when Jesus returns in glory, He will bring the two together, and you will enter into your inheritance in the presence of God. God’s promise to hold our hands is a profound assurance. He is the LORD our God, the one who takes hold of our right hand and says, “Do not fear; I will help you.” This promise is not to be taken lightly; it is a testament to the magnitude of God’s power, love, and care for us.

Reflect on the majesty of God’s hands. These hands shaped the universe, measured the heavens, and carried the weight of mountains. They led the Israelites to the promised land, protecting them, quenching their thirst, and satisfying their hunger. These hands never grow old or feeble. They still defend and equip us with everything we need.

The pinnacle of God’s love and power is seen in the hands that were nailed to the cross on our behalf. Jesus could have effortlessly conquered the cross, but He chose to spread His hands wide to demonstrate His immense love for you and me. In those wounded hands, we find redemption, forgiveness, and eternal life.

So, remember this truth: We are in Good Hands when we are in God’s Hands! Entrust your life, your worries, your dreams, and your fears to Him. Allow His hands to guide and shape your journey. As you walk with faith, you will witness God’s hand at work in every aspect of your life. And in that realization, you will find inspiration, strength, and a renewed sense of purpose.
