Sermon Your Salvation: Allowing God To Grow The Real You

We are created by God. Therefore it makes sense that if we are to live our best life we need to grow our lives in God’s provided ways. God did not make us by using a cookie cutter pattern. Therefore one size does not fit all. This means we are incredibly diverse by God’s design. We each have our own DNA. HOWEVER, we do share basic characteristics, and there are common ways for us to grow. By understanding these common ways we can best celebrate our unity and our diversity. And through these patterns we can daily lean into God’s eternal pattern for us. This message series will launch our worship services for the new year. 2016 gives us the additional day of Leap Year. Let’s make the most of it.

N.T. Wright is an exceptional Bible scholar and writer. He’s written a slim companion volume for the six chapters of Ephesians. We’ve ordered copies that are now available for purchase ($9) on our Mulberry & TriPoint campuses.

Also the Bible study I teach for our Wednesday evening service (6:00-7:00 in TBC’s dining room) will be an eleven week in depth study of Ephesians. Bring your questions, your Bible, and we will get clear about life applications.
