Dan McClendon, Sr. was our Associate Pastor Emeritus. He passed away on Wednesday. We are grateful to God for the many, many ways our lives have been enriched by Dan. He joined the Trinity family in 1969, first as our Minister of Education and later he became our Associate Pastor.

Dan remained active in Trinity until the very end of his earthly journey, at age 98. His influence will continue in our world by how we live out the values he helped to shape within us. Among those are students who annually receive scholarships from the Mildred & Dan McClendon Scholarship.

Next Thursday at noon in our sanctuary we will celebrate Dan’s life, ministry, and eternal life. He knew how to make life long commitments. And from them God multiplies 30, 60, and 100 times.
