From the Prayer Ministry – January 2016

As we turn the page from December to January, we begin a new year with anticipation and expectation for 2016. We are hopeful for possibilities and trusting our faithful God – Perhaps it is a time when you commit to some new actions – a more focused prayer time, a change in eating habits, regular attendance in a small group, an exercise plan, a new place of service. What does the New Year mean for you? I recently read a quote which touched me deeply, “God says to us, give me half your heart, and I’ll show you half my power. Give me all your heart, and I’ll change your life.” It caused me to think, what will I do with this life I’ve been given in this New Year? Will I consent to let God use my life as He chooses?

Thanks be to God for a wonderful year of ministry at Trinity – growth in every area, excellent musical presentations, camps and programs for students and children, special events by Ladies and Men’s Ministry, exciting opportunities in Missions, events for middle and senior adults. God has blessed this fellowship in countless ways. May we praise Him for His continued faithfulness to us. (Psalm 100:4)

(1 John 1:3)
