Children’s Summer 2015
This summer has been amazing for the children at Trinity. In June we started at Mo Ranch with the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. It was a fun filled week of swimming, color wars, great food and discipleship. On the last night of camp, six children accepted Christ.
Later in June, the church was filled with young aspiring artists. Children ages 2 years through 6th grade learned about God’s creation through different art mediums and artistic techniques while forming new friendships with peers and leaders.
July 7 was our first (now annual) Amazing Race: Family Edition. 15 families competed in various activities; obstacle course, hamster balls, angry birds, scripture relay and bowling. The evening concluded with everyone enjoying Bahama Bucks sno cones. Congratulations to the Brough family who were the big winners that evening.
SuperHero camp and Upward basketball and Cheerleading started the second week of July. Preschoolers learned about the armor of God, including making their very own. They learned that they are in the Lord’s army and they have to put on their armor of God. Many children from our Parent’s Day Out program and community became “Superheros” for Christ.
Upward basketball players and cheerleaders participated in drills, mastered new skills and provided their parents with thrills on the last day showcase in the gym. Each day players heard stories from famous athletes who have a deep faith in Jesus Christ.
