Dreamweek 2021

Each January, San Antonio engages in an extended time of reflection and service in honor of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the black Baptist pastor whose soulful sermons and nonviolent activism stirred the conscience of our nation by confronting the pervasive legacy of racism. Micah 6:8 is pleased to highlight the following Dream Week 2021 events. Thur, Jan 14th – 24th , 7:30-9:00 – Thurgood.
This is the story of the life of the first African American Supreme Court justice, Thurgood Marshall, and his role in the historic decision on the Brown v. Board of Education case. His story is rich in history, humanity, and humor. $10 ticket for online screening.

Sat, Jan 16th, 10:30-1:00pm- Dream Keepers Workshop 2021, Making “Good Trouble” in a New Era, A Tribute to the Life, Labor, and Legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
