Deacon Nominations
The 2010 deacon nominating team is seeking nominations for prospective deacons. Nomination forms are available in the Church Offices; the CLC Office; Sunday school classes; Fanning Foyer; and on the TBC website, www.trinitybaptist.org. Completed forms are due by Sunday, May 30.
Nominees who have never been ordained must be a member of TBC for at least 3 years; nominees who have been previously ordained in another Baptist church must be a member of TBC for at least 1 year. All nominees must attend Sunday School and Worship regularly, be faithful in tithing and giving to TBC, service in and through the church, and have a good reputation in the community.
When submitting names, particular attention should be given to the qualifications outlined in Acts 6: 3-7 and 1 Timothy 3: 8-13.
