Words of Wisdom
Donn Wisdom, Minister of Music & Worship Arts
The life of faith in Christ provides such fulfilling and memorable moments for all believers. Consistent, incarnational and authentic worship with God’s people has always ranked at the top of that list for me. Rehearsals, concerts, meetings about worship and opportunities to minister in the community all come after the meaningful moments with God in worship. So, you could say that what the congregation of Trinity Baptist Church has done in calling me to serve with you as your Minister of Music and Worship Arts provides
|
a magnificent opportunity for me, personally, to live out my calling – and be actively involved in doing the things that excite me the most within that calling.
That’s what I hope you’ll join me in as we serve together – engaging in transformational worship encounters with Almighty God that take us into a deeper relationship with Him and with each other. And, more specifically, I hope you’ll consider using God-given gifts in music and the arts in service to the worshiping congregation at Trinity and with our congregation as we minister to our community informing them of Christ’s love for all.
Please call, email or speak with me regarding any questions about how you or members of your family can contribute even more to the worship life at Trinity. I welcome your inquiries regarding musical involvement, worship enhancements and gifts of talent and artistry.
Thank you, staff and congregation, for your extremely gracious welcome to Jo Joyce, Allyson, Jonathan and me – we are humbled at your kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. I am also equally energized by the support, attendance and encouragement that you have showed during these opening days of ministry together. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you and are excited about our days together in ministry.
