Applications for TBC Scholarships Due
The Scholarship Team has announced that forms are ready for those wishing to apply for scholarships applicable to the 2010-2011 school year.
Applications may be obtained beginning Monday, March 1, 2010 at the church office or through the church website at www.trinitybaptist.org. People who are currently receiving a scholarship are also required to reapply and submit new reference letters, updated transcript and personal letter to the Scholarship Team. We will only accepted completed applications with all required documents attached and placed in a folder.
Deadline for the filing of applications is March 31.
Scholarships will be considered for students who:
- are working toward an undergraduate degree and/or pursuing career training for Christian Ministry
- are committed Christian members of Trinity Baptist Church
- are capable of academic success in college
- are in need of financial assistance
The emphasis for scholarship awards will certainly continue to follow the traditional criteria listed above. However, in support of TBC’s strategic plan the Team will consider broadening the scope of these gifts to include student(s) from one of the nearby high schools in our community. This could be used by God to promote multicultural growth in our church.
As always, these scholarships are available only through the grace of God and the generosity of His Church. Donations for this purpose are always appreciated.
