Serving is an important part of our spiritual lives as a Christian. Most of us want to invest our time in something that is worthwhile and that will make a difference. Trinity offers many opportunities for members to contribute to the needs in our world.
According to several research studies the majority of people who accept Christ as their personal savior do so before the age of 18--nearly two out of three believers. “In fact, a majority makes their crucial decision between the ages of 8 and 14. (Barna, 1999).
Investing some of your time with children is a wise choice, because reaching children early in their lives helps maximize their influence for Christ. These children then have an entire life time to reach out to others.
This summer we will have Vacation Bible School on June 14-18, 2010 from 9am to noon each day. This year’s theme will be “Hero’s Headquarters…Where Kids Join Forces with God!”
The pastor and I have prayed carefully about creating the best opportunity to affect the most children. We believe this will be a great opportunity for children. To reach our full potential with this opportunity we will need many helping hands. If you would like to make an investment that could make a difference for many years call me @ 738-7764.
