Jesus said whoever has ears to hear, then hear. The “hearing” means we are to listen, comprehend, and then apply Jesus’ message. As the Trinity family, we are uniquely engaging Jesus’ challenge by our “listening through the New Testament” emphasis.
A person can listen through the entire New Testament by investing 28 minutes a day for 40 days. (Please read Dr. Grant’s article on the next page for the easy instructions of how the program works.) We begin February 17 and conclude March 28, Palm Sunday.
My Sunday morning sermon series during this period will follow along the passages we will have read during the previous week. Each sermon will focus on a person from those passages through whom we can best see the truths God has revealed in those passages. Then, during our Wednesday evening services, we will have Q & A, as I teach from these passages.

Donn & Jo Joyce will begin their drive from Atlanta to SA on February 9 and arrive at Trinity in time for our Wednesday evening service. He will sing & share during the service and then lead the Chorale’s rehearsal. Our prayers travel with them.

The 2010-11 Deacon Nominating Team was elected from the floor at the Quarterly business meeting on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. The following persons will be serving on this team: Dick Foster, Joe Gill, Kay Ingram, Gary Jones and Jill Parker. Jill Parker will serve as team leader. The deacon nominating process will be begin in April, 2010.
