Introducing Thaddäus (Taddy) Schmitt

Contemporary Music Leader

     The Ministry of Music and Worship Arts is pleased to introduce Thaddäus (Taddy – pronounced Tahdy) Schmitt, the Contemporary Music Leader for Crossings, our new worship experience at TriPoint. Taddy was born and raised in Germany. In 2000, at the age 20, he followed God’s call into missions and music ministry and joined “Youth With A Mission Denver” in Colorado. He and his wife, Ariel, met during their time of Ministry schooling and work and were married in 2004. Most recently, Taddy has led contemporary worship at two churches in the Denver area. Last year, God stirred the Schmitts to be ready for a “new chapter”. They followed God’s lead and moved to San Antonio. Ariel works downtown for a commercial real estate appraisal company. They both are excited as Taddy starts his new ministry with Crossings and to join the Trinity family. As part of the call to serve as Contemporary Music Leader, Taddy loves playing guitar, drums and numerous other instruments. He also has a passion for studio music recording and production.
