Christmas Greetings from Bangkok!

Dear Friends and Family:
"Oh the weather outside is frightful (hot!)
But inside is so delightful (air conditioned!)
And since we've lots of places to go...
I guess it's good we don't have any snow"

With apologies to Bing Crosby, those corrupted lines do reflect reality for the Person family this Christmas! Y'all know how busy the holidays can be-- anywhere in the world--and we do hope to carve out some good family time while spending 10 days back in the B village ("Detox" for Bangkok pollution!)

Praises:
*Two "B" young people (both scholarship recipients) have made professions of faith--doubling the number of believers to Four!
*Toi (the blind lady--first believer among the B) completed her first semester of seminary studies--despite finishing college in only 3.5 years, Toi has found seminary quite challenging and would appreciate your ongoing prayers!
*Kirk and Sri (our househelper's husband) have been spending an hour every morning before work reading Mark in B--resulting in editorial changes and lots of good discussions!
*Andrew and Emily did great in their school's production of "It's a Wonderful Life." Emily had the famous line, "Every time a bell rings, and angel gets his wings."
*Suzie has had a great time interacting with many dear Thai friends.
*Kirk and some B co-workers travelled to another country to investigate a related language. Turned out they could all understand B quite well! That means that B people have now been confirmed in 4 countries!

Prayer Requests:
*Tis the season for parties! Last Saturday's kids party (Andrew and Emily's friends from the palace school) went from 10 AM to 6 PM! This Friday Suzie is hosting a party for 60+teachers. December 29 will be the B village kids party--with special gifts prepared by Agape Church. Please pray that God's love will shine through all these events.
*For someone to tape record Toi's Thai seminary textbooks for her
*For safety in travel to the B village and elsewhere
*For speedy completion of the Kammuang (Northern Thai) Genesis video--and wisdom on how to distribute both the video and various Scripture portions.

We feel continually blessed to be living in Thailand, and thankful for all of you ''on the homefront" who make this possible through your prayers and support of the CBF Offering for Global Missions.

Blessings,
Kirk, Suzie, Andrew, Emily, and Austin Person
