Partnership Ministries

There are other opportunities to serve the Lord in addition to those

ministries directly under the supervision of the church.

The following pages contain a description of the

PARTNERSHIP MINISTRIES.

They are charitable ministries that many members of Trinity support

with their time and money. Each ministry contains a short

description of the service it provides. You will also find the contact

information for each one if you would like to serve or donate to

one or more of them.

Slam Dunk for Life - Slam Dunk for Life is a program for inner-city,

underprivileged, and at-risk youth in the San Antonio area. As

the name implies, our organization uses basketball as a means

of teaching children about how to be successful in life. We

cooperate with middle schools from 6 different districts in the

San Antonio area to choose children to come to a week-long

basketball camp that is as much about life values as it is about

basketball. Each student is chosen on the basis of untapped

potential in some area of life, whether it is academics,

        attendance, behavior, or self-esteem.

VOLUNTEERS - Many things need to be done during the

camps. We need help with general transportation, food

delivery, bus monitoring, and other activities.

SPEAKERS - Speakers are also needed who can motivate

the kids by discussing their personal success stories or just by

talking about how to succeed in life.
