Putting a Plan in Place for the Later Years in Life
June 10, 2010 (8:30 AM – 12:00 Noon)
Are you or someone you love facing new challenges related to aging? Do you know where to begin when it comes to preparing for the later years of your life? Are you concerned that you will not be able to afford the help you need in the later years of your life, or the help you want to give a loved one? This educational workshop has been designed to respond to these concerns and more. It will help adults of all ages become aware of issues commonly faced in the later years of life and the many community resources that are available.

Trinity Hosts Mercer Children’s Choir
As noted in Donn Wisdom’s article in the last issue of The Trumpet, we will soon begin to develop the leadership group for beginning Preschool and Children’s Choirs which will start in the Fall. In an effort to begin highlighting the importance and the outstanding experience that can be enjoyed in children’s choirs, Trinity is hosting the Mercer University Children’s Choir directed by Dr. John E. Simons, on Sunday, June 13.

It is absolutely true – God is Good. He is Good All the Time! A major gift was received this week and this gift, along with those of several others from individuals wanting to honor their heartfelt commitments to the individual $444 challenge, brings the WCMC total to $413,817!!! Tithes & Offering receipts for the month-to-date are $395,427 which is $113,027 ahead of the month-to-date budget of $282,400.
