Martin’s ministry goal is to lead God’s people in genuine, authentic worship that is rooted in Scripture and uses a variety of styles of music that meet the needs of everyone in the church. He is passionate about congregational singing, choir ministries, instrumental groups, and the creative arts.

Martin attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he was active in the Longhorn Band. During this time, he was able to travel across the country with the band and participate in many notable events, such as the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington, D.C., multiple Cotton Bowl parades in Dallas, and the Fiesta Flambeau Parade in San Antonio.

Martin is active with the Singing Men of South Texas and holds memberships in the Texas Choral Directors’ Association and the Hymn Society of the United States and Canada.
