            Dear Trinity Faith Community—I have a deep sense of peace about Leslie’s call to serve as your new pastor and about our new relationship with you.  Thank you for entrusting us with this opportunity.

            You have been faithful in this interim season and I am excited to know each of you.  I am also grateful to already feel a vibrant connection with members of the Pastor Search Team.  

            Currently I have a number of responsibilities and preexisting commitments that need to be honored in the wisest and most loving ways possible and I ask for your patience with my transition to San Antonio (that beautiful city where Leslie and I spent most of our courtship).  My prayers are with you through this process as we prepare for our shared future.
